meet your host
Hey there, it’s Amalie. Thanks for taking the time to browse my site. I’m an American and British designer with a love for branding, illustration, and web design. However, I love to tackle any novel challenge. I bring an empathetic, detail-oriented strategy to make brands feel captivating and resonant.  On a personal note, you can find me learning new tricks on my roller skates or building highly conceptual storefront installations.

I’m thrilled to meet you, and feel free to email me with any inquiries.

INDIGO
Spring 2025
Branding, clothing design, web development, videography

At INDIGO, we believe fashion is more than fabric — it’s a symbol, a story, a statement. Historically, wearing tartan was an honour, a way to show where you came from and what you stood for. Today, we believe in honouring who you choose to be. Our designs reimagine the iconic legacy of plaid and tartan, blending history with bold, modern expression. You don’t have to fit in when you’re made to stand out. This is your pattern, your statement, your movement. We are INDIGO.

This project was created with elements of generative AI photography and video

What We Carry
With Us
Spring 2025

Publication design

What We Carry With Us is a collection of moments that invite us to connect with the people around us, discovering their stories through keychains. I started this project to understand the people around me better. To feel grateful for what we have, and understand what we might take for granted. May this journey through vulnerability foster not just understanding, but new friendships, unexpected love, and warm smiles exchanged in hallways. Thank you for your open heart. We need more people like you in this world.

LINE
Fall 2024
Product design

As a potential collaboration with LINE Skis, I illustrated three ski designs inspired by the strange and unexpected things you would never find on a ski hill. Think fish, creatures of the desert, or just someone skiing in jeans. As a lifelong skier, I designed what I see as I’m killing time on the lift.
