Social media, email campaign, and brand imagination
Boden is an iconic British brand, known for their bold colours and exciting patterns. This campaign imagined the idea of “Colour Play” for their Fall 2026 collection. Staying true to the brands iconic burst of colour, and bringing a simplistic, brand-guideline resonant approach was paramount.

Boden needed a creatively envisioned campaign concept, given the prompt “Colour Play.” Known for their vibrant colours, and stylish patterns, this concept called for a strong storyline that encapsulated Boden’s brand in its entirety, as well as the Fall 2026 collection. I.
Inspiration
Boden’s strong visual identity was taken into consideration prior to any design work. I perused through old email campaigns, social media posts from past to present, and took the most notice to how the text/image were used in conjunction.
Their proprietary font was always used in all caps. The supporting serif font could be used in title case, lowercase, or all caps. The yellow colouring often made an appearence for their most recent campaign. Text is always placed centrally.
Their language is soft, yet self-assured. Boden knows exactly who she is.
The email campaigns had a clear structure, gird system, and call-to-action buttons. I stayed close to the current layout, while sprinkling in new verbage and colour matching for the new seasons clothing.

Deliverables
Initially, I
was provided a blank email template with a navigational bar. From here, I designed an imagined email template based off previous campaigns and percieved brand guidelines. This was kept simple to focus attention on the product photography, and call-to-action buttons that were easily navigable for any individual. I noticed that previous campaigns often included a small sale to garner attention, therefore, the 15% off banner was added for brand consistency.
III.
For the social media campaign, I toyed with the wording: colour me. The concluding slide used “Boden” as an adjective, therefore the customer could visualize Boden not just as a brand they purchase from, but as a style within itself. All the preceding adjectives form what Boden is, and who the customer is becoming.
