As a potential collaboration with LINE Skis, I illustrated three ski designs inspired by the strange and unexpected things you would never find on a ski hill. Think fish, creatures of the desert, or just someone skiing in jeans. As a lifelong skier, I designed what I see as I’m killing time on the lift.

Line Prickly is a ski designed to stand tall and pack a punch. Exhibiting the antithesis of cold weather, we have the hardy cactus. Its roots begin to find their way through the ice, keeping you stable enough to focus on skiing with a vengeance. This pattern was initially designed and test-printed on the risograph, with inspiration from Julia Schimautz; however, the final design was created with Procreate. The purpose being easy application for 3D software, as well as a simple transfer for physical applications.
