As a potential collaboration with LINE Skis, I illustrated three ski designs inspired by the strange and unexpected things you would never find on a ski hill—think fish, creatures of the desert, or just someone skiing in jeans. As a lifelong skier, I designed what I see as I’m killing time on the lift. I played with the unique proportions of the skis as a canvas, using the length to stretch ideas both visually and conceptually. The project included experimentation with Risograph printing, various illustration styles, and a bit of 3D design.
